Stern Tube Cooling Fluids

Especially engineered for use in stern tube cooling systems, Coolflow STC50 provides lubrication for rotating seals and bearing surfaces - whilst delivering a non-toxic solution.

Non-oil based, and formulated to meet specific marine standards, Coolflow STC50 contains synergistic corrosion inhibitors to protect metals commonly found in stern tube cooling systems. It has been independently tested and found to meet BS6580 and ASTM D1384 corrosion standards.

The specialist fluid also contains biological inhibitors - to help prevent fouling and provide system longevity and high thermal efficiency.

Coolflow STC50 is a ready-to-use stern tube coolant and antifreeze that will provide freeze protection down to -35°C. In order to maintain system integrity only top-up with Coolflow STC50.

The product and its components have been evaluated in accordance with U.S EPA criteria and meet Vessel General Permit standards for an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant.

Coolflow STC50 has been assessed as a mixture and classified as non-toxic by an EPA certified laboratory. The specialist fluid is readily biodegradable (90% over ten days) and will not remain in the environment or bio-accumulate.
